The Studies, and Archives pages allow users to filter displayed records using the Search bar at the top of each page.

The Studies and Archives page each have a different set of searchable criteria, as applicable to that page. Selecting the 'Select criteria' button allows the user to view all available criteria fields for this page. User can select one criteria or combination of criteria to filter the records.

 

To search records, the user has to prepare and apply filter.

 

To prepare filter, user has to select one or more criteria and provide values for selected criteria.Entering or selecting values for any criteria does not trigger search automatically.

There are two ways to trigger the search:

1.by clicking 'Search' button

2.by hitting <enter> key 2 times after typing a value into search criteria.

 

When user selects the combination of two same criteria, the records are filtered based on fulfilling the condition for either of the criteria.

When user selects the combination of two different criteria, the records are filtered based on fulfilling the condition for both of the criteria.

Applied criteria and not applied criteria can be visually distinguished.

 

Not applied criteria labels are represented in light (not prominent) appearance (light blue text by default).

After a filter is applied, there are several options to modify filter:

 

removing one or more criteria: When user removes any criteria, search is triggered automatically.

 

changing value(s) for one or more criteria: When user changes a value for the selected criteria, search is not triggered automatically. All criteria label(s)  will change to light (not prominent) appearance.

 

adding new criteria: When user adds new criteria, search is not triggered automatically. All criteria label(s) is represented in light (not prominent) appearance.

 

resetting the filter: When user resets the filter, all the criteria are removed from the search bar and page is refreshed according to empty criteria.

 

To cancel/remove any of the search criteria select 'x' button shown besides the specific criteria label.To cancel all the search criteria click 'x' button shown besides Search button.

 

Here are a few examples of search on Studies page:

 

To filter the studies based on study which has StudyID =1234

 

1.Click on Select Criteria text in the search box of study page.

2.Select StudyID from the drop down that appears.

3.Enter 1234 in the textbox generated besides StudyID.

4.Click on Search or hit <enter> key twice.

5.The Study having StudyID = 1234 are then displayed on the Studies page.

 

When the combination of two different criteria are used in search, the records are searched based on fulfilling both the conditions:

 

To filer the studies based on PatientID starting from 'pID' AND study created in current week:

 

1.Click on Select Criteria text shown in the search box of study page.

2.Select PatientID from the drop down that appears.

3.Enter 'PatientID' in the text box generated besides PatientID.

4.Click on Select Criteria shown besides 'PatientID'.

5.Select Study Date preset from the drop down menu that appears.

6.Select Current Week from the drop down that appears besides Study Date preset.

7.Select on Search.

8.The studies having PatientID starting from 'PatientID' AND created in current week are then displayed on the Studies page.

 

 

When the combination of two same criteria are used in search, the records are searched based on fulfilling either of the condition:

 

To filer the studies based on study PatientID starting from 'PatientID1' OR study PatientID starting from 'patientID2':

 

1.Click on Select Criteria text shown in the search box of study page.

2.Select PatientID from the drop down that appears.

3.Enter 'PatientID1' in the text box generated besides Status.

4.Click on Select Criteria shown besides 'pID1'.

5.Select PatientID from the drop down that appears.

6.Enter 'PatientID2' in the text box generated besides Status.

7.Select on Search.

8.The studies having PatientID starting from 'PatientID1' OR PatientID starting from 'PatientID2' are shown.

The Studies page contains the following search criteria fields.

StudyID

Studies with StudyID exactly matching the entered criteria IDs. Multiple StudyIDs can be searched by separating with comma

PatientID

Studies where PatientID starting from entered criteria

Patient Name

Studies where Patient First name matching with entered criteria and/or Patient Last name matching with entered criteria

Patient DOB

Studies where Patient DOB matches the entered date

Study Date

Studies where Study DT matches the entered date

Study Date from

Studies where Study DT is starting from the entered date

Study Date to

Studies where Study DT is ending on the entered date

Study Date preset

Studies created during date frame in selected criteria

Study Uploaded Date

Studies where Study Uploaded DT matches the entered date

Sender

Studies where Study Sender matches the entered criteria

 

 

The Archives page contains the following search criteria fields.
